I have spent many summer evenings watching the sun set over Lake Superior. My vantage point is usually West of Ontonagon, near the village of Green,
in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  These photos capture only a second of a
long & glorious event - and pay little homage to the true spirit of

the Great Gitchee Gumee.
